About Coffee Near Playgrounds
Finding good coffee within walking distance of a playground
Why We Built This
If you are out with kids in the morning, the kids want a playground and you probably want a coffee. Regular map apps make you search for “playgrounds” first, remember where those pins are, clear the search, and then search for “coffee shops”. That makes it annoying to figure out which parks actually have a good cafe right across the street.
Coffee Near Playgrounds (coffeenpark.com) searches for both at the same time and pairs every park or playground with nearby cafes within your chosen walking distance (from 50 meters to 400 meters).
How It Works
1. Popular + Closest Results
Standard 1km searches often only return the 20 largest chain stores near train stations. We run both popularity and distance-based searches so smaller neighborhood roasters and pocket parks are included too.
2. Local Language Search
When you search in places like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, or Europe, the site also searches using local terms (such as カフェ / 喫茶店 and 公園 / 児童遊園 in Japan) alongside English.
3. Sidewalk Walking Paths
We calculate the walking distance between each park and cafe, filter by the distance slider, and draw the sidewalk path using OpenStreetMap pedestrian routing when you click a pair.
4. CSV Export
Click Export CSV to download the current list of pairs with park names, cafe ratings, walking times, addresses, and today's opening hours.
